A Great Day for Germantown Garden Fest 2013

A big ‘Thank You’ to the attendees and planning committee of Saturday’s Germantown Garden Fest. So many green thumb tips and beautiful plants (even trees!) were swapped between neighbors. Informative workshops ranging from hypertufa container building to mexican folk art flowermaking to beekeeping to how to create a rain garden were excellent resources for novices and experts alike. The West Greene St. entrance looks so welcoming and colorful thanks to the beautiful garden designed by Vivian N. Rowe of Zahra’s Floral Studio and filled with plants donated entirely by the community. Keep up the great work, green thumbs!
