Hello and thanks for registering to be a vendor at the 2025 Fall Community Bazaar & Flea Market in Vernon Park. We can’t wait to meet you, or see you again!
This yearly event brings our community together and generates a wonderful vibrant energy in the Park, connecting people with vital information and arts, as well as wonderful handmade and secondhand treasures. We are so excited to welcome everyone back to the park for this year’s Bazaar & Flea Market.
Crucial info below:
Weather:
We all watch the weather very carefully, as we don’t want to risk anyone’s treasures (or time) getting caught in the rain! Last year’s weather was beautiful, so we’re hoping for the same this year!
As always, if the forecast is looking iffy we will make the call by noon on Friday, October 17 and email you all, post on @FriendsofVernonPark Instagram & Facebook etc. either way. The raindate is Saturday, October 25 (same time + place).
If you are not able to make the rain date, we are happy to refund your donation/space fee upon request.
Check in: 7am – 8:30am. Please do not arrive before 7 am. Let the sun come up & let the volunteers set up. Don’t worry early birds, there is 8 acres of space to choose from.
Where: Northwest Entrance, near W. Rittenhouse & Greene Sts. For GPS, use 5855 Greene St 19144.
Simply pull in to the driveway and make your way to the spot of your choosing. We ask that you drive slowly to keep everyone safe. If you are staying for the duration of the event, you may keep your car parked behind your space on the grass. If not, please unload, safely make your way out and use the free Parking Area in the Center in the Park upper lot, at McCallum & W Rittenhouse Streets.
Please note: for safety reasons, no cars will be permitted to enter the park after 8:30 a.m. People are walking around. If you arrive late please park in the upper lot parking area and load in that way, or along Greene St if space is available.
Check out this map we made for reference so you can see where the entrance is, where the bazaar will be.

Space & Setups:
Your ‘space’ is 10′ wide along the path by however deep you need to display all your things. No spaces are assigned. There are 8 beautiful acres of Vernon Park, plenty of room for everyone!

Fun & Logistics:
Please consider donating a small item (and business card, if you have one) to our ‘Vendor’ raffle basket! We will be selling tickets for a chance win the vendor & Friends of Vernon Park baskets & raise funds for the park. Contact Felicia Coward feliciacoward@comcast.net. We appreciate it!
There is a public restroom over by the toolshed, plenty of hand sanitizer. Please take care to leave it as you found it. Let’s all take care of each other!
If you are a food vendor, please email info@friendsofvernonpark.org to make sure you’re all set for a great day.
Getting the Word Out:

Please help spread the word in community conversations, through social media (graphics above), community calendars and news outlets. We have put up banners, sent out emails, told friends and neighbors, posted signs and partnered with local organizations to let folks know that this Bazaar is not to be missed!
That being said, we need your help. Please share and repost the graphics above to tell friends, family, neighbors, elders and community organizations you work with. The more we work together, the better it will be for everyone!
Thank you ALL so much for your interest and commitment to our neighborhood park and each other!
With any specific questions, please contact info@friendsofvernonpark.org and one of our volunteers will get back to you as soon as possible.
