The Heeding God’s Call Memorial for those lost to gun violence in Philadelphia in 2012 is now up in Vernon Park on the Germantown Avenue side. We hope many of you will stop by and see the 288 T-shirts, each representing a life lost too soon.

  • Open Monthly Meetings

    Friends of Vernon Park holds open meetings from 6-7 p.m. on the Third Monday of each month. For details, please subscribe to our mailing list. All are welcome!

    Upcoming Open Monthly Meetings:

    • November 17 (remote via Zoom)
    • December 15 (remote via Zoom)

    During the colder months and in inclement weather, we meet virtually via Zoom. In the warmer months, we meet in-person in the park (byo blanket or chair). Email info@friendsofvernonpark.org with any questions.
